Skidmore Wind Chamber Ensembles
Students may perform in one or more Skidmore Wind Chamber Ensembles, a course open to all students, whether a music major or not.
Each ensemble will include two or more wind musicians with either mixed instrumentation or all of one instrument. Depending on repertoire, an ensemble may include additional instruments such as strings, guitar, piano or voice.
Rehearsals
Skidmore wind faculty coach each chamber ensemble in one-hour weekly rehearsals.
Rehearsals are scheduled around the ensemble members' other classes.
Performance
At the end of the semester, all ensembles will perform in the Skidmore Wind Chamber Ensemble Concert.
