Forbes gives Skidmore an 'A'

Choosing a college may seem simple on the surface. But it gets complicated fast when finances, on-campus opportunities, housing, dining options, and the all-important academics come into the equation. This year in Forbes.com’s national assessment of these categories, Skidmore earned top scores again.

Best colleges of 2016¹ó´Ç°ù²ú±ð²õ’s measures the “fiscal soundness of some 900 four-year, private, not-for-profit colleges with at least 500 students.†Factoring elements including admissions yield and the percentage of first-year students who receive grants, Forbes gave Skidmore a 3.65 GPA, or a solid A grade. Skidmore was again complimented for the success of its students in  report, ranked at 62.

In another Forbes ranking, -- evaluating postgraduate success, student satisfaction, student debt, graduation rate, and academic success -- Skidmore was ranked number 85. Forbes also released , naming Skidmore amongst the top 150.
