Students bring EMS training to campus
Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians David Goroff and Mark Benhaim, both Class of ’14, have spent two years collaborating with the Department of Campus Safety and the Dean of Student Affairs to bring Emergency Medical Service (EMS) to Skidmore. Their efforts have resulted in the Skidmore College EMS (SCEMS), which provides trained, certified student volunteers dedicated to keeping their peers and community safe. Funded by the Student Government Association, SCEMS will begin taking calls for help on campus at the end of February.
