Holley Hodgins, professor and chair, Department of Psychology, has been recognized by the Red Cross Life Share Program for her work on the campus Bloodmobiles. Skidmoreā€™s participation level during the 2012-13 academic year qualified for Silver Level recognition in the Life Share Program. According to Kay Schwartz, chief executive officer of the New York-Penn Blood Services Region, the Life Share Program recognizes ā€œour most dedicated supporters who help us continue to meet the needs of patients and maintain the community blood supply. Life Share is about helping to save lives.ā€ The next Skidmore Bloodmobile is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 5, in the Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery. Activities

Katie Gardiner, choral conductor, Department of Music, led a performance of Mozartā€™s Requiem Jan. 15 at Drury High School, North Adams, Mass. The full concert featured the Drury band and chorus, as well as orchestra members from the University of Massachusetts.

Exhibition

Sang Wook Lee, associate professor of art, has a site-specific solo exhibition titled through March 31 at the Arts Center of the Capital Region in Troy.
