Jennifer Delton, professor of history, published āā in The Washington Post.
Corey Freeman-Gallant, professor of biology, has been awarded a three-year grant from the National Science Foundation to study āthe Functional Genomics of Plumage Ornamentsā in a North American songbird, the common yellowthroat. The research will be conducted in collaboration with Skidmore undergraduates and colleagues at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. An article by Freeman-Gallant and Conor Taff ā05 of the Cornell Lab of Ornithology (āā) has been accepted for publication in Oecologia. Freeman-Gallant is co-author of another manuscript recently published in the , āMajor histocompatibility complex variation and blood parasites in resident and migratory populations of the common yellowthroat.ā
Reference Librarian Jiebei Luoās article āā has been accepted for publication in the journal Library & Information Research.
"Crafting Qualitative Research: Working in the Post-Positivist Traditionsā by Pushkala Prasad, Zankel Chair and professor in the Department of Management and Business, has been translated this year into Japanese and published by the Japan UNI Agency in Tokyo. The textbook was first published by Routledge in 2005.
