Bernard Possidente, professor of biology, co-authored an academic study about fruit flies, "Females
reared in leaded (Pb) environments do not avoid leaded egg-laying substrates," in
the Bulletin of Environmental Contamination and Toxicology.
A.J. Schneller, assistant professor of environmental studies and sciences; Adam Tinkle, assistant professor and director of MDOCS; Jesse O'Connell, MDOCS program coordinator; and Jennifer Schmid-Fareed, Skidmore Mindfulness program coordinator and administrative assistant for MDOCS,
installed and hosted “” at the Albany Stage 1 Gallery. The international touring multimedia exhibition showcased
Albany's Sheridan Hollow Alliance for Renewable Energy (SHARE) and 21 other frontline
communities working to expose the roots of current environmental injustices.
