Beau Breslin, professor of political science, published a new book. 鈥溾�� was published by Stanford University Press.
Joseph Cermatori, assistant professor of English, has been awarded an ACLA Helen Tartar First Book Award for his manuscript, 鈥溾�� (forthcoming from Johns Hopkins University Press in November). This national prize
is conferred on an annual, competitive basis upon first-time book authors in comparative
literature who have secured university press contracts.
Heather Hurst, associate professor of anthropology, was recently named a 2021 National Geographic
Explorer. This award supports new archaeological research at the Maya sites of San
