Skidmore Spotlight: Rosier Cade
Rosier Cade is evening circulation assistant at Scribner Library. As part of the circulation department, Cade helps train and lead student assistants to serve library patrons, answer questions, and keep library materials circulating in and out of the library.
“I get to help keep things going at night, when the library really comes alive,” said Cade, who joined Skidmore in June.
Cade, who formerly served as the coordinator for the Purple Pantry, University at Albany’s campus food pantry, was drawn by the creativity at Skidmore.
“Skidmore’s focus on creative thought draws a fantastic, diverse student body with a great energy that keeps us excited and engaged in the library,” Cade said. “I also love how beautiful the campus is — not only the grounds, but also how much art there is everywhere! The library especially is full of gorgeous student artwork.”
Outside work, Cade enjoys spending time with family. “As you might expect from a library worker, I love to read. I also have several craft projects going at any given time, mostly cross-stitch.”
