Monica DasMonica Das, associate professor of economics, published "" in World Development Perspectives. The paper uses a novel approach to re-examine the relationship between income inequality and pollution and shows that protecting the environment can have an added advantage of creating a just and inclusive society. The article was co-authored by S. Basu of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP). 

David HowsonDavid Howson, senior teaching professor and Arthur Zankel Executive Director of Arts Administration, was one of three expert panelists on a nonprofit board roundtable webinar about "," presented by . 

Vojtech KejzlarVojtech (Vojta) Kejzlar, assistant professor of statistics, delivered an invited talk, titled “Bayesian Uncertainty Quantification of Computer Models” as part of the Mathematics and Statistics Department colloquium series at Vassar College on April 22.  

Jill LinzJill Linz, senior instructor of physics, authored an article published in the Journal of the Acoustic Society of America (JASA), titled “Designing an introductory musical acoustics course using physics education research techniques and the impact COVID-19 pandemic had on the course structure.” Christian Howat ’22 and Marley Schmidt ’23, whose support made it possible to adapt and deliver the course during the pandemic, were both acknowledged in the article.
