Jason Breves, professor of biology, delivered an invited lecture, “Growth hormone and prolactin mediate critical life-history transitions in salmon,” at the inaugural GroPro Meeting: Growth Hormone and Prolactin, Basic and Translational Science conference at the University of Stirling.

Joseph Cermatori, associate professor of English, presented his research on Handel's opera "Rodelinda" (1725) as part of the at the University of Texas at Austin. He also published a program essay on Mozart's "Così fan tutte" (1790) for the Opera Saratoga’s June production. Currently, he is working as dramaturg for a new production of Handel's opera "Giulio Cesare in Egitto" (1724), which will debut at the Historic Hudson Opera House in Hudson, New York, in spring 2025, staged by director R. B. Schlather.
