Brooke Paradise, associate dean of student affairs for inclusion and engagement, has been appointed as the 2025-2027 NASPA Undergraduate Student Conference chair, a three-year role overseeing the planning and execution of the 2025, 2026, and 2027 Undergraduate Student Conferences. Paradise will play a key role in shaping the conferences, fostering student passion for the field and contributing to the professional development of future higher education leaders.
Laurie Rabinowitz, assistant professor of education, co-authored her first book, titled "" with Routledge. Drawing on asset approaches to teaching such as Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and Culturally Sustaining Pedagogies (CSP), the book, which comes out on Oct. 31, offers practical teaching strategies to support literacy instruction that meets the needs of all learners.
