BikeMore is now CDPHP Cycle!

Bikemore

As of Wednesday, September 14, 2022 we have limited BikeMore bikes at one rack as we prepare to welcome CDPHP Cycle! bikes to campus. Any current BikeMore user is welcome to use these bikes routinely until 10am Friday, September 16. The new Cycle! bikes will be available midday Friday, Setpember 16 at two new racks, by the library where BikeMore formally stood and at the green between Sussman Apartments' exit and Northwoods.

Hereā€™s how to sign up for your free membership:

  • Using a desktop or laptop visit 
  • Click on the green ā€œUnlock Your Accessā€ tab
  • Click on ā€œSkidmore Collegeā€ (note the Skidmore option will be available by Thursday at latest)
  • Input the required information including a credit card (only to cover incidentals, you will not be charged for riding)
  • Once your membership has be created, download the Cycle! app to locate a bike near you, press any button to wake the bike up, scan the QR code on the bike to unlock it an begin your ride.  When you are done riding, lock the bike to a Cycle!rack or any fixed public object in the riding system to end your ride.

 

This program is free to all students, faculty and staff with their @skidmore.edu email address. You can check out these bikes on campus and anywhere in Saratoga Springs, Albany, Troy, and wherever CDPHP Cycle! rolls.

Anyone with a Skidmore ID can check out a bike from Bikemore, the campus bike share program. Simply go to the circulation desk at the library and ask to check out a bicycle. You will be asked to fill out a waiver and then your all set to ride! Bikes are locked to the railing outside of the library. Your rental is good for 24 hours, so feel free to explore! The bikes have been used for everything from just getting around campus to riding downtown to pick up groceries or for a leisurely ride with a friend around Saratoga Springs.
