The Office of the Registrar provides valuable services and information to the Skidmore community: student registration; class scheduling and room assignments; maintenance of student academic records; processing of data for new students, returning students and alumni; and the administration of unofficial and official transcript services.

  • We hope you all had an amazing summer! Here are some important deadlines for the start of the semester:

     

    Here is the link to the add/drop calendar

    ADDS – You can add courses in the student system until midnight on Sunday.  Starting Monday, Sept. 9, you will need an instructor’s signature/approval to add anything to your schedule.  This initial deadline is in place to ensure that you have touched base with the instructor so they can get you up to speed in the course as quickly as possible.  This can be in the form of an email and you can ask your instructor to email registrar@skidmore.edu.  

    The following Monday, Sept. 16, the Committee on Academic Standing will be reviewing all late add requests and could deny them, even with instructor approval.  Those forms require instructor and advisor signatures.

    DROPS and GRADE MODE changes - You may drop courses in the system until midnight on Wednesday, Sept 18.  You may also change a grade mode (Letter or S/U, Audit) through Sept 18.  After that day drops will need to be a withdrawal without grade penalty and grade mode changes are not allowed at all.  (the withdrawal without grade penalty deadline is Nov 14).

    Be sure to check your schedules now and make sure everything is correct.
